Privacy Policy

Your personal information is safe with us. Sewvac.com feels that it is our responsibility to protect the privacy of our customers. We will not sell, lend, or trade any information of our customers. Your personal information will never be used for anything other than processing and distributing your products to you.

Warranty Policy

For the first 30 days from receipt of machines via UPS ground shipment, shipping is provided on any warranty repairs, as long as the original packaging is still retained. If the original box and packaging materials are not retained, then the shipment is the responsibility of the customer. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer after the first 30 days.

Return Policy

If for any reason your purchase does not fulfill your needs, you can return it within 15 days from receipt of the product. Simply call 1-866-SEWNVAC (1-866-739-6822) for a return authorization.

Shipping is non-refundable. Items purchased with free shipping originally will have standard ground shipping fees deducted from the refund.

The 15-day return policy applies to all vacuum cleaners and sewing machines on this website except the following non-refundable products:

  • Products without original packaging
  • Products with visible damage due to misuse or abuse
  • Products in an unsellable condition

Any item returned that is not in original packaging, is incomplete, or is visibly damaged will be subject to a restocking fee dependent on the extent of the damage.

Sales Tax Policy

Sales tax will not be charged on any orders that ship outside the state of Maryland. This includes any order that has a separate billing address inside the state of Maryland, but a shipping address outside the state of Maryland.

Shipping Policy

Any item with free shipping applies to all destinations within the 48 contiguous United States only. Orders from Alaska or Hawaii will pay actual shipping costs less standard ground shipping fees for all free shipping items. The free shipping method will be for standard UPS Ground Rates. Any other shipping options are available at the expense of the customer.

UPS doesn’t deliver on Saturdays. We do not ship to PO Boxes, APO Addresses, or Overseas. We cannot refund shipping costs if an item does not arrive on time due to weather conditions or other situations beyond control of UPS.

Extended Service Policy

Vacuum Cleaner Extended Service Plan

“In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, we offer a free tune-up on all vacuum cleaners purchased under $300 at the 11-13 month anniversary (1 yr.)  of sale. For purchases between $301-$700, we offer a free tune-up at the 11-13 month anniversary (1 yr.), and 35-37 month anniversary (3 yrs.) of sale. For purchases $701 and higher, we offer a free tune-up at the 11-13 month anniversary (1 yr.), 35-37 month anniversary (3 yrs.), and 59-61 month anniversary (5 yrs.) of sale. The price of filters and parts are not included.”

Sewing Machine Extended Service Plan

“In addition to the manufacturer’s warranty, we offer a free tune-up on all sewing machines purchased under $500 at the 11-13 month anniversary (1 yr.) of sale. For purchases between $501-$1500, we offer a free tune-up at the 11-13 month anniversary (1 yr), and 35-37 month anniversary (3 yrs.) of sale. For purchases $1501 and higher, we offer a free tune-up at the 11-13 month anniversary (1 yr.), 35-37 month anniversary (3 yr.), and 59-61 month anniversary (5 yrs.) of sale. The price of repair parts is not included.”
